FAQs

Who is a good candidate for ADHD assessment?

You might be a good candidate if you are an adult (over 18 years old) who has struggled with functioning, anxiety, depression, relationships, work/school, or unexplained physical ailments throughout your adult life. Many people with anxiety, depression, or other mood issues often find they also qualify for an ADHD and/or Autism diagnosis.

What is the benefit or receiving a diagnosis?

A diagnosis can be a powerful tool for self-understanding and positive change. It can open doors to effective treatments, including medication to improve daily functioning. Perhaps even more importantly, a diagnosis can provide a new, compassionate lens through which to view your life experiences, validating your struggles and offering a framework for self-acceptance. For many, it's the missing piece of the puzzle, paving the way for targeted support such as therapy or coaching.

Am I guaranteed an ADHD or Autism diagnosis?

NO! This testing process will tell us if you qualify for a diagnosis or not. There is no guarantee that you will qualify. If you do not qualify for a diagnosis, we will discuss why in the final session and explore other potential opinions for treatment or getting help.
